Our Adventure...

Once upon a time...

So, as most of you know, I wasn't sure if I wanted any more kids and James did want one more but he wanted to wait until Cooper went to Kindergarten! I was like, uh no...if we wait that long I'll be done for sure.  So with all that said, we weren't planning on having another baby right now.  Apparently, God had other plans for us.  I was still on the low dose BC from when I was nursing just because I hadn't really thought to change it until about a month ago.  I was actually waiting to get the new BC but little did I know, it was already done.  =)  My dates were all off so we weren't sure but I thought I was late so we took the good ole Dollar Tree test-I can't believe people pay $25 for a dang test!.  Katie and David were at our house and we were about to head to Houston for James' family reunion. They went out to get lunch so I decided to take the test then.  It said to wait 2 minutes for results so James and I just stared at the test, waiting, LOL.  Finally, James said, "is that a 2nd line?" (which means your preggo) and I replied "I wondered if you saw that..."  and there it was, we were expecting!  Katie and David came back so we had to keep hush hush until we got in the car to head to Houston.  We were in separate cars so James and I discuss all the crazy excitement the whole way.  We knew we had to tell everyone at the reunion so we came up with a plan. We had to stop at Walmart so we picked up another test, just to be sure and instantly it was positive!

At the reunion, we created a game for everyone to play where they had all these letters and had to come up with the mystery phrase, "Heather is pregnant."  Of course, everyone was excited to hear the news.

On our way home, we didn't want the news to leak out with Facebook and all this other social media so we went straight to Temple to surprise my parents.  We picked up a bib on the way and wrote Moseley Baby #3 on it.  We sent J to the door and when they answered he handed them the bib. Not only were they surprised to see us, they were excited about the news too!  We had to keep the news quiet until the next weekend when we could  tell me family. We did the same word scramble and boy were they shocked.  It was definitely fun being surprised and also surprising everyone.

So there is the story of how we began this roller coaster ride.  There are more updates to come...when I have the time and energy to write them =)
