Introducing Anderson Heath Moseley:

 ANDERSON HEATH MOSELEY

We thought it was fitting with his initials A.M. that he go home decked out in Aggie gear!

Now, back to the beginning. We got to the hospital at 7am and got checked in.  About 8:15 Dr.Hinds came in and broke my water and they started pitosin.  Now, it was just a waiting game.  My parents and   Cissy and Katie were all there with us just hanging out. Aunt Mary also go there at some point. We sure missed Bill who had to work, poor guy.

I can't remember what time it was when I got my epidural but as soon as the Dr. said I could get it, I was all over it! Once  again it worked wonderfully! I think the Dr. who did it was fairly new because he seemed nervous and took a long to to do it. Luckily I wasn't having big contractions at that point like with my other boys so it wasn't too bad.  It did feel like someone was pushing on a bruise while he was putting it in but once he was done, it was great! I don't know why in the world anyone would choose not to have one.  It made all 3 of my deliveries enjoyable before, during and after!

I think around 10am or so, I was at a 5 and at 12 I asked the nurse if she was going to check me. I wasn't feeling any pressure yet but was just curious. She said she was going to wait a little longer so James and the crew had fun watching my contractions on the monitor and telling me how big of one I was having!  My parents went to get lunch and next thing you know, the nurse comes in and says by the looks of my contractions she thought he was moving down so she wanted to check me. Then WHOOSH...everything happened so fast!

She checked me and said yep, it's time. She called for a nurse to call Dr.Hinds (thank goodness his office is connected to the hospital) and it was go time! Everyone left the room and Cissy texted my mom so they would get back quick.  It was just a few short minutes I'm sure but James asked if I was ok and I replied that I would be better once Dr.Hinds walked it...it seemed like forever!  Our nurse was so great and calm but you could tell she was ready to catch Anderson should he come before the Dr. got there.  She had me so a few "practice pushes" but I was scared to push my all since the Dr. wasn't there.  Finally he walked in and I was ready!   I literally pushed for just 2 MINUTES!!! Insane! and he was here!  Dr. Hinds kept calling me she-ra but geez, you tell me to push and I'm gonna do it, lol.

the nurse took this for us when he was under an hour old!

Anderson was perfect! He was born at 1:06pm,  7lbs 2oz, 18.5 inches, and had what at first looked like reddish fuzzy hair.  After getting a bath it looks more like the texture of Coopers hair but a brownish blonde.  It still changes with each light he's in for me now so I am very interested to see what it end up being.  He was the earliest of my boys by an hour and the smallest by just 2oz and 1 1/4 in.

Our amazing Aunt KK picked up the boys from daycare so they could come and meet their little brother.  They were so excited! I wasn't sure how Cooper would act since he's so little but he was in love! Both boys were so loving and sweet with him! Cooper is still very much interested in everything to do with him.  J randomly asks where he is and makes sure he's ok but then just goes back to the good ole IPAD, =)

my sweet princes walking me down the hall, haha

For his first checkup, we was down to 6lbs 8oz (10%) so no wonder he was so tiny.  They measured his height at 19 3/4 in (25%) but I think that was off.  His head is in the 75% so another big headed baby...but not as big as Cooper's apparently is.
he's so tiny!

proud of our

So now we are just adjusting to life with another newborn.  You know, no sleep, constant nursing or crying...the usual, haha.  He is very cuddly though so I will enjoy that while I can.  Today was the first day we had all 3 boys at home all day and just us and WE SURVIVED! We even ventured out to Target and dinner and good boy Anderson slept the whole time so it wasn't too difficult.  It's also Cooper's actual birthday so we had a small celebration at home and will party big time on April 5th!

Thanks to everyone who has read my blog this go round and for all of your love and support throughout this entire pregnancy! It is such a miracle and we thank God everyday for our happy, healthy family!

We made it!!!!!

39 WEEKS...WHAAAAAAATTTTTTT!!!????? It's time. It really has flown by and although I am very excited to meet Anderson, I do love being pregnant and will miss it so much!

We had our last appointment at 3:30 and we always wait at least 30 minutes so it wasn't a big deal at first.  But then we hit the 45 minute mark and finally at the hr. mark we were called back to a room.  Once we get to a room, we also usually wait 20-30 minutes there so we weren't looking forward to waiting any longer but what can you do?  I did heard the receptionist tell someone that he had to go do 3 deliveries so that's why he was so behind.  I do understand that and am fine with it. If Anderson comes early, I want him to put me ahead of his appointments too.  It just stinks to wait soooo long.

When we got called back, the nurse said it had been a crazy day for babies and I started thinking this baby better not get crazy and he better stay put!  I finally heard Dr.Hinds by my door and in comes the nurse....he literally just got called to deliver another baby! At this point it was 5:15 so we figured it would be at least 30 minutes. (Did I mention the doctor's office is connected to the hospital so at leasts its convenient)  We debated on what to do  because we had to get the boys by 6 and were watching some friends kids at 6 as well.  James wanted us to just leave because there was no real point to this appointment but I first needed to know when to come in on Monday (if I make it) and I was also curious about my dilation.  So James left to get the all the kids and then would come back to get me.

About 15-20 minutes later, Dr.Hinds was back! Talk about speedy delivery, geez!  So he came in and I'm sure the nurses wanted to get out of there it being about 5:35 at this point.  Heartbeat sounded good and he went to check me but then asked if I was dialated last week.  I told him I was a 2-3 and he said he didnt need to check me! Since the process was started there was no need....well, I asked if he would anyway because I figured James would be mad since I argued that I wanted to stay to be checked. Plus I wanted to validate the 2 hours I waited there!  Being the great doctor that he is, he did check me and I was about a 3.5 but he didn't want to check any further so it wouldnt induce labor, which I was ok with.  Therefore, I dont know how effaced I am or if he is still really posterior or not.  I also found out we need to be at the hospital at 7am Monday morning so it wasnt a totally unecessary appointment.

I also found out none of the babies he delivered today were his patients! He delivered twins, 3 other babies and had someone getting an epidural when I left, so he said the labor and delivery owed him some banana splits or something. I guess thats one negative about being connected to the hospital but hey, at least all those ladies had a great doctor deliver their babies!

So, some progress but I still think I'll make it to Monday. I do think it will happen pretty fast though, I just better be able to get an epidural. I think I'll be able to get it right when I get there since I'm already pretty dilated.  I still havent felt any true contractions. I do feel slight tightening here and there which I guess are contractions but nothing the stops me or that is worth noting.

Now lets hope I make it through our last day of school before spring break and then anything goes! I think my worst fear is for my water to break during class!!  So now my final preggo picture:
39 weeks!!!!

Time to start the count down!

I had my 38 Week appointment today!  I feel like my belly has definitely dropped and co-workers have been commenting too so I was very excited to see if I've progressed. I haven't felt any contractions or had any other labor signs though so I'm pretty sure I will make it to the 10th. With that said, I have progressed from a 1.5cm to a 2-3 as the Dr. put it!  I see a 3 as pretty far along so now I'm not so sure I'll make it but we will see. He did say Anderson was still pretty posterior so he thinks I'll have a few more days but couldn't guarantee a week. Either way, we are ready!  There are a few minor things that we need to do it the next day or so just to be ready but honestly, we live so close to the hospital so if James needs to come back home after Anderson is born to do anything it will be easy. As they say in Jamacia, NO PROBLEMS, NO WORRIES MAN! (with the A in man making the "o" sound ) =)  So, with that said, this may be my last post before Anderson's sweet face is revealed!!!  The planner in me would really like to make it to the 10th so we will keep hoping for that but I think I better get a poll started on stats and details on Anderson soon just in case.  I've also taken a picture as it may be my last one so enjoy!

38 weeks!

It's almost go time!

Man, it's hard to keep up with posts when you go to the Dr. every week!  Last Thursday I had an appointment and I'm so happy I've only gained 24lbs!! I'm right on track with my other pregnancies in weight gain.  I still think my belly looks smaller than with both other boys though.
First the Dr. listened to the heartbeat which sounded great.  Then he measured my belly and said I'm just hiding it which is common in 3rd pregnancies apparently because I'm only measuring 34 weeks and Im 37 so maybe Anderson will be a little guy too!   He also checked for dialation and I was almost dialated to a 2!! This just means the process is starting but I still have a little time.  I havent felt any contractions or anything unusual so I'm sure I'll make it to my appointment this Thursday and see if anything has progressed further.
So, two weeks from today I will be induced unless Anderson decides to make his debut earlier!  It's coming very fast!  I'm almost done with all my sub plans so hopefully he can hold on a little longer until I get them done.
I've gotten all Anderson's clothes washed an hung and purchased all that we need to get started.  The last thing I need to do is wash the car seat and we will be set.
Sorry I have no pics this time but yesterday I did post a great video of Anderson moving in my belly on facebook so if you havent seen it check it out.  The video doesnt do it justice but it's still pretty cool!
So that's it for now, Ill post as soon as I can after this Thursday's appointment!

Only 4 weeks left....WHAAAATTT????

I had my 35 week appointment today!  Two weeks ago I had an appointment and finally after an hour and a half they told me he had just delivered a baby and was about to deliver another one so I could wait or reschedule!  Well that's all good but I wish they would have told me that an hour earlier!  It wasn't an important appointment anyway and I had been feeling fine and had no questions so of course, I didn't wait for him.  Luckily they let me reschedule my next appointment for 2 weeks later instead of having me come back just a few days later.
So, this time everything is still going really smoothly.  I have no complaints and just cant believe its so close!  When he went to check Anderson's heartbeat, the minute he put the cold gel on my stomach Anderson kicked back and Dr. Hinds was like, WHOA!  Then he did it three more times and Dr.Hinds didn't even need to find the heartbeat to know this baby is strong and healthy =).  I told him Anderson is like that ALL DAY! Crazy boy!
We also booked our induction day!  We want the 10th so Dr. Hinds said to book the evening of the 9th that way depending on how dilated I am I can go in that evening or if I am far enough along I'll just go in the morning of the 10th. He said it would be easier to change it to a later date/time than to go earlier.
I now start going EVERY WEEK and he will check me for dilation next week. That's insane! It's 4 weeks until the 10th and I only have 3 more appointments with him.  Its starting to hit us that our n world is about to change drastically! Good thing we have experience!
I ll leave you with some cute brotherly love pics:

My registry

I have to admit, even though this is the 3rd time I've registered, I still had fun doing it! I forgot they give you a little bag of samples and coupons too so woo hoo! It even came with a shutterfly coupon for birth announcements! I was just going to register at Target but now I'm thinking of going to Babies R Us too to get the freebies and they throw in a gift card there as well....AWESOME!

Now, a few people have been asking me about what we need so I figured this was the best way to get the info out to anyone who wants it.  There are a few things we need and of course some wants as well. I did try to get a mix of price ranges too. A lot of the things I registered for said they were limited available so I am not picky on the color or design really, as long as its boyish.

DISCLAIMER: I am not sharing this on FB to get people to read it and want to buy us something. This is purely info. for those who want it. I know when I want to get someone some thing who already has kids, its hard to know what they really want or need so if you dont want to know, stop reading here =)

So far this is all based on the Target registry. If I find better things at babies r us ill update this list.
The things we need are:

Rock n Play Sleeper-as of now we have nothing like this and with Cooper I kept saying it would be
nice to have something like this so this tops the list!
Avent 9 oz. bottles-these come with slow flow nipples which work great at first but we also need med.
and fast flow nipples (all on the registry)  They have all different size packs too. Im not sure how
many we would need total but any number would be a great help!  They have blue ones which I
thought were cute but the clear are just fine too!
Travel bottle warmer-there were 2, one to plug into the car and one reusable that requires no
electronics. I think I'd rather have the car one but both seem very useful to us!
Pacifiers- i put several on the registry so here's the scoop- I use the MAM brand. THey have different
sizes so we need some of each size, I think the sizes say 0/1M, 3M and 6M. I will like any design as
long as its boy but the brand is important and a variety of sizes would be nice too!We need more of
the 3M and 6M than the 0/1M. You can find these at alot of stores too.
Bibs-any kind from anywhere are fine but I know we need some.

About the other items:
Blanket-I want the Circo Valboa Big Dottie Blanket-its navy blue with big white dots.  It matches the
boys and I LOVE them. It's not a need but if we dont get one as a gift, we will def. go buy it, =)
Infantino Baby carrier-we got one for cooper but it was cheaper and I'm not sure if we still have it so it
would be nice. We dont need a really expensive one like the baby bjorn so i just picked this one
because it looked pretty good. Im not picky on the brand or colors but I want on the goes over the
shoulders like this to hold the baby in front of you and can hold  around 30lbs.
Swing-ours was on it's last leg with Cooper so we need one but I'd rather have the rock n play sleeper
over this. the swing is battery operated so it swings by itself but i dont think its good for the baby to
sleep in overnight and the sleeper doesnt rock on its own (BOO!) but is for sleeping.of course, it
would be nice to have both though =)
Playmat-we have had a few over the years and i need to get in the attic to see if we still have all the
pieces to coopers but the little dangly toys get separated over time so im not sure we have them all,
this would just be to have a new fresh one. The brand is just the cheapest one they had. I am not
picky on the brand or where its from or exactly what it looks like.
Milk storage bags- i felt like this was weird to register for but you may have no idea how many of these
we go through and they arent super cheap so if you are looking for an inexpensive and practical
    gift...this is it!
Butt Paste- this is another practical, small and inexpensive gift. There is NOTHING BETTER than this
stuff so dont waste your time on other brands for us =)

There are a few other little things that I added that would be nice but there ya go...I'm sure there are some things I have completely forgotten about and wont think about until Anderson is here but I think these are the main things.  The only thing I havent registered for is a car seat because they were just too darn expensive! Plus, we have a Graco base and Im not sure all Graco car seats even fit into it so i gotta do some research.   Im gonna check the date on ours this weekend (hopefully) so cross your fingers we can still use it!  If this was way more info and detail than you wanted then, sorry but  I thought some people might find it helpful since its hard to know what someone really needs or wants.

31 Weeks and Counting...

I had my 31 week appointment today and all is still well.  My belly really popped out these last few weeks and Anderson is moving like crazy!  Being pregnant is the only time people can comment on how big your belly is and you get excited, LOL.  I'm up to about 20lbs gained so right on track based on my other boys.  I've just started to have a little muscle pain in my back and legs which I think is a little earlier than Cooper but luckily I can take tylenol when needed and my doc said if it gets worse he can get me a prescription that I can take here and there so we will see, you know Im all about the meds! I really love my doc too. He's so go with the flow which is perfect for us.  We told him I'd like to be induced by March 10th to make use of spring break and he said that would be perfectly fine.

Anderson is measuring right on track as well and we even got some face pics today! I knew Anderson could be a good boy! ;)

You can really see his eye, nose and mouth now!

Peek A Boo! He was opening and closing his eye the whole time.

This was a great shot of his nose and lips!

I can't believe I only have 9 weeks left! I've started making sub plans which is not the easiest thing but since I've done it before, I at least know where to start.

Now its time to register and get a few essentials we will need for the little guy.  We have most things but I've heard car seats expire so that really stinks because J's seems fine and its cute and fits in our base and everything...It's hard to think of what else we need right now. We did get rid of some things after Cooper but I can't remember what all it was so I guess we will just have to get in the attic and then get things as we need them. I know we need a new travel swing and bottles and maybe a bassinet or something like it.  I did find a blanket at Target thats the same as J and Coopers but navy blue so I am excited about that because the boys love their blankets so much and I hope Anderson will too!  Well, I guess thats really all the news for now.

I'll start going to appointments every 2 weeks now so updates will be coming more often too, yay!  I'll leave you with a few belly pics:

He's getting WAY out there!!
