Introducing Anderson Heath Moseley:

 ANDERSON HEATH MOSELEY

We thought it was fitting with his initials A.M. that he go home decked out in Aggie gear!

Now, back to the beginning. We got to the hospital at 7am and got checked in.  About 8:15 Dr.Hinds came in and broke my water and they started pitosin.  Now, it was just a waiting game.  My parents and   Cissy and Katie were all there with us just hanging out. Aunt Mary also go there at some point. We sure missed Bill who had to work, poor guy.

I can't remember what time it was when I got my epidural but as soon as the Dr. said I could get it, I was all over it! Once  again it worked wonderfully! I think the Dr. who did it was fairly new because he seemed nervous and took a long to to do it. Luckily I wasn't having big contractions at that point like with my other boys so it wasn't too bad.  It did feel like someone was pushing on a bruise while he was putting it in but once he was done, it was great! I don't know why in the world anyone would choose not to have one.  It made all 3 of my deliveries enjoyable before, during and after!

I think around 10am or so, I was at a 5 and at 12 I asked the nurse if she was going to check me. I wasn't feeling any pressure yet but was just curious. She said she was going to wait a little longer so James and the crew had fun watching my contractions on the monitor and telling me how big of one I was having!  My parents went to get lunch and next thing you know, the nurse comes in and says by the looks of my contractions she thought he was moving down so she wanted to check me. Then WHOOSH...everything happened so fast!

She checked me and said yep, it's time. She called for a nurse to call Dr.Hinds (thank goodness his office is connected to the hospital) and it was go time! Everyone left the room and Cissy texted my mom so they would get back quick.  It was just a few short minutes I'm sure but James asked if I was ok and I replied that I would be better once Dr.Hinds walked it...it seemed like forever!  Our nurse was so great and calm but you could tell she was ready to catch Anderson should he come before the Dr. got there.  She had me so a few "practice pushes" but I was scared to push my all since the Dr. wasn't there.  Finally he walked in and I was ready!   I literally pushed for just 2 MINUTES!!! Insane! and he was here!  Dr. Hinds kept calling me she-ra but geez, you tell me to push and I'm gonna do it, lol.
little angel

the nurse took this for us when he was under an hour old!

Anderson was perfect! He was born at 1:06pm,  7lbs 2oz, 18.5 inches, and had what at first looked like reddish fuzzy hair.  After getting a bath it looks more like the texture of Coopers hair but a brownish blonde.  It still changes with each light he's in for me now so I am very interested to see what it end up being.  He was the earliest of my boys by an hour and the smallest by just 2oz and 1 1/4 in.

Our amazing Aunt KK picked up the boys from daycare so they could come and meet their little brother.  They were so excited! I wasn't sure how Cooper would act since he's so little but he was in love! Both boys were so loving and sweet with him! Cooper is still very much interested in everything to do with him.  J randomly asks where he is and makes sure he's ok but then just goes back to the good ole IPAD, =)

my sweet princes walking me down the hall, haha

For his first checkup, we was down to 6lbs 8oz (10%) so no wonder he was so tiny.  They measured his height at 19 3/4 in (25%) but I think that was off.  His head is in the 75% so another big headed baby...but not as big as Cooper's apparently is.
he's so tiny!

proud of our

So now we are just adjusting to life with another newborn.  You know, no sleep, constant nursing or crying...the usual, haha.  He is very cuddly though so I will enjoy that while I can.  Today was the first day we had all 3 boys at home all day and just us and WE SURVIVED! We even ventured out to Target and dinner and good boy Anderson slept the whole time so it wasn't too difficult.  It's also Cooper's actual birthday so we had a small celebration at home and will party big time on April 5th!

Thanks to everyone who has read my blog this go round and for all of your love and support throughout this entire pregnancy! It is such a miracle and we thank God everyday for our happy, healthy family!

We made it!!!!!

39 WEEKS...WHAAAAAAATTTTTTT!!!????? It's time. It really has flown by and although I am very excited to meet Anderson, I do love being pregnant and will miss it so much!

We had our last appointment at 3:30 and we always wait at least 30 minutes so it wasn't a big deal at first.  But then we hit the 45 minute mark and finally at the hr. mark we were called back to a room.  Once we get to a room, we also usually wait 20-30 minutes there so we weren't looking forward to waiting any longer but what can you do?  I did heard the receptionist tell someone that he had to go do 3 deliveries so that's why he was so behind.  I do understand that and am fine with it. If Anderson comes early, I want him to put me ahead of his appointments too.  It just stinks to wait soooo long.

When we got called back, the nurse said it had been a crazy day for babies and I started thinking this baby better not get crazy and he better stay put!  I finally heard Dr.Hinds by my door and in comes the nurse....he literally just got called to deliver another baby! At this point it was 5:15 so we figured it would be at least 30 minutes. (Did I mention the doctor's office is connected to the hospital so at leasts its convenient)  We debated on what to do  because we had to get the boys by 6 and were watching some friends kids at 6 as well.  James wanted us to just leave because there was no real point to this appointment but I first needed to know when to come in on Monday (if I make it) and I was also curious about my dilation.  So James left to get the all the kids and then would come back to get me.

About 15-20 minutes later, Dr.Hinds was back! Talk about speedy delivery, geez!  So he came in and I'm sure the nurses wanted to get out of there it being about 5:35 at this point.  Heartbeat sounded good and he went to check me but then asked if I was dialated last week.  I told him I was a 2-3 and he said he didnt need to check me! Since the process was started there was no need....well, I asked if he would anyway because I figured James would be mad since I argued that I wanted to stay to be checked. Plus I wanted to validate the 2 hours I waited there!  Being the great doctor that he is, he did check me and I was about a 3.5 but he didn't want to check any further so it wouldnt induce labor, which I was ok with.  Therefore, I dont know how effaced I am or if he is still really posterior or not.  I also found out we need to be at the hospital at 7am Monday morning so it wasnt a totally unecessary appointment.

I also found out none of the babies he delivered today were his patients! He delivered twins, 3 other babies and had someone getting an epidural when I left, so he said the labor and delivery owed him some banana splits or something. I guess thats one negative about being connected to the hospital but hey, at least all those ladies had a great doctor deliver their babies!

So, some progress but I still think I'll make it to Monday. I do think it will happen pretty fast though, I just better be able to get an epidural. I think I'll be able to get it right when I get there since I'm already pretty dilated.  I still havent felt any true contractions. I do feel slight tightening here and there which I guess are contractions but nothing the stops me or that is worth noting.

Now lets hope I make it through our last day of school before spring break and then anything goes! I think my worst fear is for my water to break during class!!  So now my final preggo picture:
