Let me catch you up to speed...

So as I expected, it's pretty hard to keep up with this blog these days, even if it is summer time.  However, I really don't have much to update on anyway.  I've been to the doctor twice, the first time the baby was such a little peanut the doctor guessed I was about 5 weeks along so he had me go back 2 weeks later to get a firm due date based on the baby's size.  When I went back the baby was measuring 7weeks and 5 days and this puts my official due date at March 13, 2014!!  Of course, this would be just 2 days before Coopers 2nd birthday.  Good thing is that its over spring break. I only have 3 weeks of days saved since I used my stash up with Cooper so we are hoping to use all of spring break as one of my 6 weeks off and only be out 2 weeks.  My doctor is cool with it so lets just see if baby cooperates. =)  I'll go back to the doctor for my 12 week appointment in 2 weeks (the first week of school) and have some better ultrasound pics to share.

Of course we ultimately wish for a happy, healthy baby but I have to say we are hoping for pink this time!  If it's a boy that will be great, we know what to do with boys and have all the stuff but I would like a little back up in the gender department, haha.

We don't really have any names yet. We had a difficult time coming up with Cooper so we have just decided to wait and see if its a girl or boy before we duke it out over names.

Lately Ive been thinking about Cooper's birthday and if I want to have it early or late and right now I'm leaning on late. I think having it 2 or 3 weeks late would be good because then not only could people come to celebrate cooper but they could also meet the baby too!  I'll have to run it by James and get his thoughts though of course so we will see.

My nausea has really calmed down which I am thankful for since I start work TOMORROW, ugh!  I've been feeling great lately though and when I'm not so great the meds i got work really well!

I guess thats it for now! Ill update again in a few weeks!

Our Adventure...

Once upon a time...

So, as most of you know, I wasn't sure if I wanted any more kids and James did want one more but he wanted to wait until Cooper went to Kindergarten! I was like, uh no...if we wait that long I'll be done for sure.  So with all that said, we weren't planning on having another baby right now.  Apparently, God had other plans for us.  I was still on the low dose BC from when I was nursing just because I hadn't really thought to change it until about a month ago.  I was actually waiting to get the new BC but little did I know, it was already done.  =)  My dates were all off so we weren't sure but I thought I was late so we took the good ole Dollar Tree test-I can't believe people pay $25 for a dang test!.  Katie and David were at our house and we were about to head to Houston for James' family reunion. They went out to get lunch so I decided to take the test then.  It said to wait 2 minutes for results so James and I just stared at the test, waiting, LOL.  Finally, James said, "is that a 2nd line?" (which means your preggo) and I replied "I wondered if you saw that..."  and there it was, we were expecting!  Katie and David came back so we had to keep hush hush until we got in the car to head to Houston.  We were in separate cars so James and I discuss all the crazy excitement the whole way.  We knew we had to tell everyone at the reunion so we came up with a plan. We had to stop at Walmart so we picked up another test, just to be sure and instantly it was positive!

At the reunion, we created a game for everyone to play where they had all these letters and had to come up with the mystery phrase, "Heather is pregnant."  Of course, everyone was excited to hear the news.

On our way home, we didn't want the news to leak out with Facebook and all this other social media so we went straight to Temple to surprise my parents.  We picked up a bib on the way and wrote Moseley Baby #3 on it.  We sent J to the door and when they answered he handed them the bib. Not only were they surprised to see us, they were excited about the news too!  We had to keep the news quiet until the next weekend when we could  tell me family. We did the same word scramble and boy were they shocked.  It was definitely fun being surprised and also surprising everyone.

So there is the story of how we began this roller coaster ride.  There are more updates to come...when I have the time and energy to write them =)
